We are heavily over subscribed in year 7 and have taken 60 pupils over our planned admission number as there is a shortage of secondary school places. It is a very exciting time. Women-only services for women who have been subjected to sexual and domestic violence are among these. The women we work with at nia, a charity based in east London supporting women subjected to sexual and domestic violence, including prostitution, tell us over and over again that they want and feel best supported by specialist independent women-only services.
